 MTC Second Week

Well this week was a blast. Another great time of practicing to serve the lord. We went to the temple today which was a marvelous experience. For any of you wanting to go to the temple it brings forth such great spirit and a feeling of joy like you probably have never felt before, but that's besides the point. Today we are going to share some sad heartfelt memories of broken things (some were fixed).

The first broken thing is a member of our district. His name is Elder Jarvis, now technically he's not broken, at least not yet. He's only locked himself outside his room once wearing nothing but his undies which was sketchy. The best advice I have for anyone in a situation like that is to run, and if you have to sacrifice the slower elder if necessary. But that's not the main broken thing...

So before I go any further let me tell you how glad I am to know that I can live with my family forever because of Heavenly Father's love for us. It's amazing that Christ gives us the opportunity to happily live with and love forever our future and present family.

Well I think i'm banned from volleyball, I only broke one ceiling tile with my little weak volleyball hit. It was just a little hit... I mean that tile was asking for it, It was nearly 5 stories above me and I swear it was laughing at me, so I proceeded to destroy it. Well it fell out of the ceiling, nearly taking out the poor cowboy or Elder Tanner who was trying to catch the volleyball, never mind the overpriced expensive ceiling tile that's made of light foam that somehow came out of the ceiling which plummeted directly at the poor cowboy. And then, me and Elder Tanner (the cowboy) had to rescue about 8 people from locked doors when they locked themselves out of their dorms which was a blast, after we ran about 4 miles to get keys.

Well, the third broken thing is our district. It's a great district I swear, besides that one elder... But overriding that fact (and he is a great elder) we kinda upset our teachers through our loud actions and disrespect we showed to them one day, it was upsetting that we were that rowdy that day but we did learn our lesson and come to grow closer to the lord and to our district. The lord loves to fix broken things, I will testify that if any one feels broken or upset, if you sincerely pray to the lord and read the scriptures, the book of mormon or the Bible, you will feel better and start to have better days. I know without a doubt that the lord liveth and he is unchanging. He knows your worries and fears. Now I'm not telling you this because I'm a missionary, it doesn't matter to me if I am wearing a tag or not, I am telling this to you because I LOVE you all. Because I respect and honor all of you, because I want you to find the happiness I have found and I know that you can find it.

Thanks for reading, please if you have any concerns send them to me (or comments or anything). I will respond because I love y'all. Also swing dancing with another Elder is hard, especially when he doesn't know how to do flips.

Please feel free to stop by my parents house, Anytime. If you want food we try to serve it at about 530, if you want to pet the dog you are welcome to. If you want to go shooting my brother will take you. If you just want to talk to someone my mother loves to talk.

With love, Elder Brice
