So its been another week or two of events full of fun and exciting adventures. Sorry I didn't write one last week, I didn't have access to the computer long enough to write one.
We go to the beach to see the sunset alot, it was pretty basic just watching a sun slowly fall till it hit the ocean and went under. Its crazy how fast the ocean can put out that giant ball of fire, its so weird...
We have done tons of calls and text messages to nearly ever single contact we knew. We got some responses and some decent lessons set up but the past weeks has been so boring. I have struggled with how boring its been, Id rather be fishing... But its been hard with Covid because knocking doors is not a thing in Africa so all we do it phone calls and texts till we get someone to invite us over. But its going to be okay, I just try not to fall asleep and keep clicking buttons. How anyone could keep a desk job is beyond me.
Its sad over here too, tons of little african kids come running to me asking me for money, its a little sad but I cant give them money (mission rules, and the government asks people not too) so you just keep walking. They all think I'm rich because I am white. I ride a bike everywhere which is a party, its making me buff which is a definite plus too.
Taxis are crazy, they have wars every once in a while with uber drivers and force them to the side of the road shoot the driver then take the passenger. Which I haven't seen happen but I honestly don't want to see happen. Taxis here just don't obey the laws, they make up laws like running every single red light if no one is going. Its wack. But im still alive, barely. I still wonder whats keeping me together at times.
Then there are Kite surfers who surf the waves with a parachute or something like that. They get tons of speed and often get launched nearly 20ft or so in the air. It's amazing to see them and we see them nearly every day. There are usually around 80 people doing it each time we visit the beach.
But the spiritual thought is...
Just trust in the lord. I know he will help you as he helps me. Lufe gets so tough and makes you want to find a cave and curl up in it. Or go do some swing dancing... but its crazy how much he does bless each of us as we stay close to him and follow the commandments. If have started trying to focus my prayers on what he wants me to say, by listening to the Holy Ghost. It's amazing the change as I take time to listen to what he wants for me. I love yall! Yall are amazing, miss you all too. Stay awesome!!!

We climbed table mountian, that's the view it was a terrible steep hike but very rewarding. Had tons of random people want to interview us and have pictures with us...
Had zone conference last week, I luckily avoided all the pictures besides the group photo... I tried.
Me falling asleep on the couch after a long day. I was sick that night because of the way I slept.
